Avenza Maps Setup

Android

  1. Download the PDF map of your choice (links above). Note the download location.

  2. Install Avenza Maps on your device: Play Store

  3. Open Avenza Maps and click the + button (bottom right corner)

  4. Select “Download or import map”

  5. Select “Cloud storage or device”. Your file browser will open. Navigate to the PDF file that you downloaded in step 1 and select it.

  6. After it is imported, click on the map. If you are in that area you will see a blue dot, which should coorrespond to your location.

iPhone / iPad

  1. Download the PDF map of your choice (links above). Note the download location.

  2. Install Avenza Maps on your device: App Store

  3. Open Avenza Maps and click the + button (top right corner)

  4. Select “Import Maps”

  5. Select “From Storage Locations”. Your file browser will open. Navigate to the PDF file that you downloaded in step 1 and select it.

  6. After it is imported, click on the map. If you are in that area you will see a blue dot, which should coorrespond to your location.
